Antoinette

Edwin and I had been wanting to try out Antoinette at Mandarin Gallery.

Everytime we patronize Mai Maison, we made a personal observation of the long queue at Antoinette.

The concept of the place was pretty classy and was created in a way to look really high class.  We have never tried the food there before and we didn't know what was good to try.  After browsing through the menu, Edwin decided to go for Marinara and I went for Seafood Aglio Olio.

It was a lovely ambience.  A place where you can sit and chat comfortably.

And our pasta came.....

Generally, the pasta was fine.  However, we did not see anything special about the pasta and it was slightly hard.  I wouldn't give too high ratings for the pasta though...

But we heard that Antoinette was famous for their desserts and tea!

I ordered the Petit rose tea together with Madagascar ice cream and sorbets served with creme Chantilly.   I was hoping that these would not disappoint me.

I really enjoyed the dessert and tea.  Edwin and I agreed that the tea was great and that it was blended just right.  I am very particular with my tea.  The tea served was not too enriching with rose.  It has a tinge of rose scent and taste which made my tea really refreshing!  And for the dessert, I really loved the cookies served along.

In future visits,  I would probably go for Antoinette's desserts and tea especially during tea time with my girl friends.

Till then,
Cheers!!!
Roxy =)
